Kelavarapalli dam, Hosur

One of the cool place to spend weekend with friends/family. Later, on the way to Bangalore we visited Muthyala Maduvu Falls, Anekal. Chikkamagaluru trip

This time we decided to explore coffee land of Karnataka, Chikkamagalur. Yasvantpur railway station The journey : We started our journey early at 4:45am from Kadubeesanalli. As the distance of the journey was more than 200km, I chose to travel by train, While my friend decided to travel by bike. As planned earlier, we decided to meet up at Birur railway station. The train almost took 4.5hr, and by the time I reached Birur railway station, Einstein was waiting for me at the station. Its almost 4 years, I have moved to Bangalore from my hometown Mangalore. Here are few list of places in Bangalore, which are good and you can plan to visit. 1. Belur - Halebidu

Team :   Deekshith, Shashi Route : Bangalore -->  Hasana --> Halebeedu --> Belur --> Shravanbelagola (~300km) Transport : Bike Date of journey : 25 Aug 2017 Long weekends are the best days of my life. Either I plan to go to my hometown or I try to explore something new. This time, me and my friend Shashi decided to visit the historic temples of Belur-Halebid, located in Hasan district. We started our journey on a bike, at around 4pm in the evening. It took almost 4hrs to reach Hasan, on a well maintained NH75 highway. Thanks to Shashi's uncle and family, as we spend rest of the day in their house. Next day, we hit the road early at 8am in the morning. We decided to visit Halebid, then Belur and if we are left with some time in the evening, we would visit Shravanabelagola on the way back to Bangalore. On the way to Halebeedu Halebid:  Located at a distance of 32 Km from Hassan. Halebid was the regal capital of the Hoysala Empire in the 12th
