Mangalore stands in the vicinity of some of the most scenic beaches of the country. If you are planning a trip to this coastal city and want to enjoy the beauty of the seashores, a visit to the one of the beaches near Mangalore is a must.

3. Sultan betary, Archaeological site

A Watch tower build by King Tipu Sultan, back in 17th century. This was constructed to keep a lookout for the entry of warships into the Gurpur River, Mangalore.

The place, where you can get a chance to view wildlifes like tigers, lion, leopards, bears, deer, reptiles, and the King Cobra in their natural habitat.

5. Planetarium

The first 3D planetarium in India, which simulates the story about stars and our planets in 8K. The shows are available both in Kannada and English language.

6. Musical fountain

Located in Kadri, this musical fountain gives the brief information about the history of Mangalore, using the colorful laser lights falling on continuous stream of water jets.

7. Kadri Park

The largest greenery park inside the city.

Tadiandamol trekking

This time we decided to explore a hill - Tadiyandamol. About the Place:  Tadiandamol is the highest mountain of Kodagu district. A day out in Bangalore

All these times, me and my friends roamed places outside Bangalore and we never thought of exploring anything inside Bangalore. So, this time we decided to explore few places around Bangalore. My friend Shashi came up with few list of places in Bangalore to explore on weekend. After sorting the list, we decided to visit three new places which were unheard all these years -  The Big banyan tree, Turahalli forest and Omkar hills . We started our journey at 1:30PM from Domlur, Bangalore. Though the distance of travel to Big banyan tree is just 20km, the heavy traffic inside the city made us to take more than 1hr to reach our destination.
