Its almost 4 years, I have moved to Bangalore from my hometown Mangalore. Here are few list of places in Bangalore, which are good and you can plan to visit. 1. Vishanasoudha The seat of the state legislature of Karnataka. Place where Parliament happens. Vidhanasoudha 2. High Court Located opposite to Vishanasoudha. Belur - Halebidu

Either I plan to go to my hometown or I try to explore something new. This time, me and my friend Shashi decided to visit the historic temples of Belur-Halebid, located in Hasan district. We started our journey on a bike, at around 4pm in the evening. It took almost 4hrs to reach Hasan, on a well maintained NH75 highway. Thanks to Shashi's uncle and family, as we spend rest of the day in their house. Next day, we hit the road early at 8am in the morning. We decided to visit Halebid, then Belur and if we are left with some time in the evening, we would visit Shravanabelagola on the way back to Bangalore. Nandi hills and surroundings

I replied, "As of now I don't have any plans for tomorrow, But I can plan for something, if you are ready to join with me".  "Sure, I can join with you", he replied. As it was already late to plan for something, we quickly decided to visit one of the favourite spot of the city - Nandi hills. Next day, we started our jouney at 5:00am from Kadubeesanalli. It just took 1.5 hr to reach the first place of the day Nandi hills. Nandi hills: Nandi hills Perched at a height of 4,851 feet above sea level. It is known for the origin of the Arkavathy river. Lepakshi trip

This time, I decided to explore a place which could be covered by train route. After some sort of search in Google, I found an interesting place - Lepakshi. It didn't take me much time to search a train to Lepakshi. Hindupura is the nearest railway station, located  at a distance of 13km from Lepakshi.  View of Makalidura hill as seen from the train We took a Jaipur Express (12975) train from KSR railway station, at 1 in the noon.
